This paper examines the presence of two works —Ravisius Textor’s Epitheta and Niklaus Reusner’s Picta poesis Ouidiana— in Lope de Vega’s epic poem Jerusalén conquistada and in several other works by him. It shows how these two works were a very important source of information and inspiration for Lope de Vega all along his literary career.El presente artículo estudia la presencia de dos obras —los Epitheta de Ravisio Téxtor y la Picta poesis Ovidiana de Niklaus Reusner— en el poema épico Jerusalén conquistada y en varias otras obras de Lope de Vega. Se demuestra cómo dichas obras sirvieron como fuente tanto de información como de inspiración para Lope de Vega a lo largo de toda su trayectoria literaria
