Autoři prezentuji problematiku postojů a praxe profesionalnich socialnich pracovniků ke komplementarni (psychoterapie, specialni pedagogika) a alternativni medicině (ajurveda, homeopatie, terapie hudbou, joga, meditace) s dětmi s autismem v indicke Kerale. Výzkum byl realizovan přimo v indicke Kerale s profesionalnimi socialnimi pracovniky kvalitativni výzkumnou strategii formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Cilem studie je ziskat lepsi porozuměni kulturniho kontextu a specifických rysů psychiatricke socialni prace v Indii.
