Antiepileptic effect of potassium (K) channel openers has been shown in in vitro and in vivo studies. The purpose of this study is to investigate K ATP channel agonist (pinacidil) and antagonists (glibenclamide) acute effects on experimental epilepsy models.

Agonist and Antagonist Effects of ATP-Dependent Potassium Channel on Penicillin Induced Epilepsy in Rats
