To evaluate the success of re-TUR operation in bladder tumor patients and to evaluate the factors affecting the determination of residual bladder tumor. MATERIAL and METHODS: Between January 2008 and July 2018, the cause of bladder tumor was defined as re-TUR within 2-6 weeks due to multiple tumor, high grade tumors, T1 tumors, totally unresectable tumors in the urology clinic of our hospital, 94 patients were evaluated retrospectively. RESULTS: In cases with T1 stage bladder tumors, high grade tumors larger than 30mm after the first TUR, the rate of detection of residual tumor tissue in re-TUR was statistically significant (p <0.05). DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: Re-TUR; provide new or verified staging with additional pathology information, change the treatment plan with improved outcomes, enable the removal of residual tumors, facilitate intravesical care response, provide valuable prognostic information and a significant survival rate.
