It is shown that the adsorption of HCl molecules at the surface of ice increases,\udif the HCl binding energy increases with the distortion amplitude\udof the oxygen sites of ice. At the same time, the adsorption stimulates an increase\udof the Lindemann parameter for the ice lattice, driving its melting at\udtemperatures (T = 190 K) relevant to the polar stratosphere. Similar effects\udtake place when the lateral interaction between HCl molecules becomes\udmore attractive due to the coupling through the ice lattice.Показано, що адсорбція молекул HCl на поверхню льоду зростає, якщо зростає енергія зв’язку молекул HCl при збільшенні амплітуди\udспотворення кисневих вузлів льоду.
