espanolEste articulo indaga en la relacion entre la transmision de pautas laborales a traves de generaciones de mujeres y la generalizacion del empleo femenino. Se trata de ver como un fenomeno macro, la incorporacion de las mujeres al mercado laboral, opera a escala micro y en que medida hay continuidades entre abuelas, madres e hijas que retrasan o adelantan la tendencia a la insercion laboral de todas las personas adultas. En este sentido podria hablarse de path dependency,concepto que puede ser de utilidad para comprender la transmision entre generaciones de mujeres de la relacion con la actividad. Utiliza metodologia cualitativa longitudinal a partir de los relatos de diez triadas femeninas que representan diferentes combinaciones de trabajo monetarizado y no monetarizado caracterizadas como tradicionales, de transicion, regresivas y modernas. EnglishThis article examines the relationship between the transmission of employment patterns over generations of women and the spread of women's employment. It looks at how a macro phenomenon, the incorporation of women in the labour market, operates at the micro level and the extent to which continuities exist between grandmothers, mothers and daughters that delay or advance the trend toward the insertion of all adults in the labour market. In this sense we can speak of path dependency, a concept that can be useful to understand the transmission among generations of women of their relationship to economic activity. Qualitative longitudinal data is used, based on the discourses of ten triads of women, each characterised as traditional, transitional, regressive or modern, representing different combinations of paid and unpaid work.
