A proposta do artigo e discutir brevemente a producao cientifica veiculada pela Revista Brasileira de Historia da Educacao (SBHE, 2001) e pela Revista HISTEDBR On-line (UNICAMP, 2000), buscando desenhar um quadro que expresse a historiografia da educacao no Brasil, no periodo entre 2000 e 2010. Esses periodicos foram escolhidos por se constituirem como dois dos principais veiculos da producao do campo da Historia da Educacao no Brasil. Esse rapido mapeamento da area se apoiou na analise do conjunto dos 173 artigos publicados pela RBHE e dos 586 artigos veiculados pela HISTEDBR On-line. Tais periodicos sao importantes canais de comunicacao do conhecimento do campo da Historia da Educacao, contando entre seus editores com professores-pesquisadores de merito cientifico reconhecido entre seus pares. O contexto de surgimento deles remonta a primeira decada do novo milenio, momento de efervescencia do campo com a criacao de eventos nacionais e regionais, o surgimento de grupos e sociedades atuantes nessa area da pesquisa. Os resultados apontaram peculiaridades e aproximacoes entre essas revistas, distintas em seu formato de circulacao e organizacao, destacando-se, por exemplo, diferencas entre os grupos tematicos predominantes constantes nos artigos veiculados. Quanto a metodologia, tabularam-se os artigos pela leitura de titulos, resumos e palavras-chaves, o que demandou atencao na organizacao do amplo volume de informacoes, mesmo se considerando a agilidade do trabalho em funcao do livre acesso aos acervos digitais dos periodicos. * * * The purpose of this article is to briefly discuss the scientific production published by the Revista Brasileira de Historia da Educacao (SBHE, 2001) and the Revista HISTEDBR On Line (UNICAMP, 2000), aiming to design a framework that expresses the historiography of education in Brazil in the period between 2000 and 2010. These journals were chosen as two of the main production vehicles in the field of the History of Education in Brazil. This rapid mapping of the area was based on the analysis of the set of 173 articles published by the RBHE and the 586 articles published by HISTEDBR On-line. These journals are important communication channels of knowledge in the field of the History of Education, counting among its editors with professors-researchers of scientific merit recognized among their peers. The context of their emergence goes back to the first decade of the new millennium, a moment of effervescence of the field with the creation of national and regional events, the emergence of groups and societies active in this area of research. The results pointed out peculiarities and approximations between these journals, different in their circulation and organization format, for example, differences between the predominant thematic groups in the articles being published. As for the methodology, the articles were tabulated by the reading of titles, abstracts and key words, which demanded attention in the organization of the large volume of information, even considering the agility of the work due to the free access to the digital collections of the periodicals.
