The objective of the article experimental verification and substantiation of the possibility of practical use of the method of assessment of changes in the functional state of boxers according to the indices of heart rate variability, spontaneous breathing and neurodynamic properties of a body for improving the management of physical loads in intensified and competitive microcycles. Material: the study involved 19 boxers of high qualification. Results: analysis of individual differences changes of centile distribution of indices in the process of control of fatigue-recovery process in a cycle of a training session before, after, and on the day after thetraining session. On this basis, it is shown the difference of conditions for formation of favorable conditions for boxers’adaptation to physical stress in natural conditions of athletic training. Conclusions: while examining boxers it was established the changes of the functional condition of an organism before loads, in the process and in the process of aftereffect of the training session. It was shown differences of the level of readiness of athletes to a trainings session, recreation of an organism after loads and activation of renewable reactions. Correction of the training process on the basis of the indicated indicators of the functional state let us increase the efficiency of special physical training during all three measurement cycle
