Presents a perspective to identify students who have a higher expectation of school performance, from those who read in a traditional way and those who receive strategies through neuro-reading. The research was placed in the context of neuroscience, neuropedagogy and neurolearning at the level of basic education. The present inquiry is an ex-post-facto study and is considered methodologically and technically relevant choose the type of Correlational Study and the subtype of the multiple correlation coefficients. Regarding the Reading Level Scale the participants stood at 28.93% at the level of Excellent and Good, in as much a 23.86%in Regular and 47.21% of the participants were located at the Lousy and Low level. Then the multifactorial analysis does not yield revealing results in how the development of reading in school children should be approached. That is, the entrance to the development of reading in infants must start from the recreational reading.
