The article reviews actual problems of cooperation between medical and social agencies in the provision of mental health care for people are living in a senior citizen’s home. We used case study method to analyze legal regulation and organization problems of mental health care in social institution hospital type: legal regulation problems of ambulance and social agencies, shortage of social workers. This examples demonstrate that problems of cooperation between medical and social agencies affect people with mental health problems. We propose a way to optimization work of psychiatric service in social institutions. It will be instrumental in prevent this kind of situation
