43歳男性。1994年12月頃より左眼の違和感が出現。1995年3月, 近医眼科にて左上眼瞼結膜の腫瘍を指摘され, 切除したところ, mucoepidermoid carcinomaの病理診断であったため, 同年3月当科初診。上眼瞼結膜に3mmの結節を認め, 510mm離して切除し, 反転皮弁および頬部皮弁にて再建を行った。術後5年間経過観察を行ったが, 局所再発や遠隔転移はみられなかった。その後, 左上眼瞼の赤色の腫瘤に気付き, 2002年12月当科受診。腫瘤は有茎性で残存結膜に付着していた。切除生検を行ったところ, mucoepidermoid carcinomaの再発であった。上眼瞼結膜の追加切除のみ施行し, 30Gyの放射線照射を行った。術後約3年が経過し, 現在のところ局所再発や遠隔転移は認めていない。
