As a result of the ageing population process, societies, governments, and individuals deal with the emergence of new needs at several levels. Nowadays technological solutions are a reality in the daily life of senior citizens enhancing their quality of life, through the promotion of their autonomy and independence. Concerning the role that television plays in the quotidian of older adults, interactive television (iTV) platforms are becoming more relevant due to multiple factors, namely the interactive features it can provide. To quickly and easily access information on public and social services, iTV platform +TV4E was developed aiming to improve Portuguese seniors’ info-inclusion.
