The integration of connected and smart technology is a key factor of our future traffic system development. By integrating traffic participants into the technology development circle, possible trade-offs, obstacles and advances can be identified and further, an understanding of technology acceptance can be evolved. This paper will show, how camera-based technology in intelligent transport systems is evaluated from a user-centred perspective.
