The volunteering practices described in this article are understood as part of university extension. Thus, this study presents the interpretations of students of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral about the activities they carried out and the learning they acquired through the project Vinculos para la inclusion that aims to contribute to the educational inclusion of high school students, in Santa Fe, Mexico. Their reflections were provided by a written questionnaire and by what they expressed orally during a meeting designed to evaluate the activities developed at the first year of the project. To contextualize their stories, the project, its theoretical framework and the actions implemented are explained in this study.
