No ano de 2015, o Congresso converteu a MP no 664 de 30 de dezembro de 2014, na lei no 13.135/2015, gerando uma serie de implicacoes na protecao social da mulher, em razao da modificacao das condicoes para concessao do beneficio de pensao por morte. As projecoes do IBGE dao conta que, em 2020, serao 7 homens para cada 10 mulheres com mais de 70 anos, ja que a expectativa de sobrevida feminina e superior a masculina. Os dados mostram que e maior o numero de mulheres atingindo idade avancada, sem companheiros e cuidando sozinha de sua familia, motivo para que estejam amparadas pela previdencia social. Com o presente estudo, de cunho qualitativo, atraves de pesquisa documental e bibliografica, objetiva-se analisar, de maneira introdutoria, eventuais implicacoes das alteracoes legislativas instituidas pela Lei no 13.135/2015, na protecao social das mulheres, pelo beneficio de pensao por morte e a ocorrencia de retrocesso social.Abstract: In the year 2015, Congress converted MP 664 of December 30, 2014, in law 13.135 / 2015, generating a series of implications for the social protection of women, due to the modification of the conditions for granting the pension benefitby death. The IBGE projections indicate that, in 2020, there will be 7 men for every 10 women over 70, since the expectation of female survival is higher. The data show that the number of women reaching older age without partners and taking care of their family alone is higher, so that they are covered by social security.
