The article presents a summary of the thesis “The human rights of children and adolescents at the Center for Social Assistance Specialized Reference” as a result of reviewing the actions of health care regulated by the Children and Adolescents (ECA) operationalized within the Social Assistance System (SUAS) and executed by the Reference Center Specialized Social Assistance (CREAS). The survey results demonstrate the challenges in implementing the human rights of children and adolescents in relation to the inequalities and exclusions generated by the capitalist system, showing that the attendance of CREAS expressed a gap between material reality and the contents of articulation, integration, network, system, intersectoral familial and matrix present in the guidelines of the ECA (1990) and ITS (2005), demonstrating that the realization of human rights requires * Doutoranda em Políticas Públicas pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI).
