The article deals with the interaction society-nature through the history of mankind and how this led to the present environmental crisis that became evident through the contradictions and limitations of the prevailing models of development, which at the same time led to the concept of sustainable development stated in the Brundtland Report in 1987. Furthermore, in addition to the study of the evolution of the technical relations between society and nature, the ideas of Classical Thermodynamics, the basis of the General Theory of Systems and the analysis of the flaws in the concept of sustainable development stated in the above mentioned report, the article offers a new insight of sustainable development from a dialectic, systemic and thermodynamic point of view that takes into account the shortcomings and contradictions that came into view as the concept evolved. Key words: Society, nature, sustainability, developmentSe analiza cómo la evolución de la interacción sociedad - naturaleza en la historia de la humanidad condujo a la crisis ambiental contemporánea, hecho que se manifiesta en las contradicciones y limitaciones de los modelos de desarrollo prevalecientes y causa de la aparición en la ciencia de la concepción de desarrollo sostenible ofrecido por el Informe Brundtland en 1987. Además, del estudio evolutivo de las relaciones técnicas que median entre la sociedad y la naturaleza, la ideas de la Termodinámica Clásica, de los fundamentos de la Teoría General de Sistemas y el análisis de las insuficiencias del concepto desarrollo sostenible ofrecido por el citado informe, se cimienta desde una perspectiva dialéctica, sistémica y termodinámica una concepción de sostenibilidad que salva las fisuras y contradicciones aparecidas en la evolución de este concepto.L'évolution de l'interaction de la société analyse comment - la nature dans l'histoire de l'humanité a conduit à la crise de l'environnement contemporain, un fait qui est évident dans les contradictions et les limites des modèles de développement en vigueur et à cause de l'apparition dans la science de la conception développement durable proposé par le Rapport Brundtland en 1987. en outre, l'étude de l'évolution des techniques qui interviennent dans les relations entre la société et la nature, les idées de la thermodynamique classique des principes fondamentaux de la théorie générale des systèmes et de l'analyse de la insuffisances du concept de développement durable proposé par le rapport, est fondée d'une dialectique, systémique et thermodynamique perspective conception de la durabilité qui sauve des fissures et des contradictions sont apparues dans l'évolution de ce concept
