Se analiza la historia textual del primer libro de poesía de Cesare Pavese: Lavorare stanca, terminado de imprimir 24 de enero de 1936 en Florencia, prestando especial atención a los cambios textuales del «segundo texto», publicado en Turín en 1943, así como a las decisiones editoriales que adoptó Italo Calvino en su magnífica edición de 1962, que ha puesto las bases a la lectura y comprensión del texto, desvirtuando algunas de las decisiones editoriales que había adoptado Pavese como su «última voluntad de autor»This essay analizes the first Cesare Pavese’s book of poetry: Lavorare stanca, finished the 24th of January, 1936, in Florence. The textual changes of the «second text», published in Torino in 1943, are studied in depth here, as well as the editorial decisions adopted by Italo Calvino in his outstanding Edition of 1962. This one is the foundation of the lecture and understanding of the text, in spite of some deviations from the editorial criteria of Pavese as his «last will of the author»
