El objetivo de este artículo es analizar los idiomas inventados de las narraciones humorísticas de niños de 8 a 12 años. Considerando que los niños objeto de estudio se encuentran en sentido general en la fase de adquisición del humor V Riddles and Jokes (McGhee, 2002) y que manifiestan una evolución desde usos epipragmáticos del lenguaje, más automáticos y memorísticos, hacia el desarrollo de una competencia metapragmática, más consciente y reflexiva (Gombert, 1992), se llevará cabo un análisis cuantitativo basado en las variables “palabras inventadas”/”creación léxica”, “dibujos” y “comentarios sobre el idioma”. Tanto la variable “palabras inventadas” como la “creación léxica” presentan un alto porcentaje en las tres franjas de edad (8, 10 y 12 años), lo que es una prueba de que los niños aprecian humor en las reglas lingüísticas y son capaces de producir historias humorísticas donde se describen los rasgos fónicos o estructurales de los idiomas inventados, problemas de comprensión o de traducción, etc. Tras el análisis cuantitativo, se describirán los procedimientos de incongruencia encontrados. A continuación, se expondrán diversos usos tanto epipragmáticos como metapragmáticos en las tres franjas de edad relacionados con estos nuevos idiomas.The aim of this paper is to analyse the invented languages in 8 to 12 year old children’s humorous narratives. It is worth bearing in mind that, in general terms, the children involved in the research are in the phase of humour acquisition V Riddles and Jokes (McGhee, 2002) and that they manifest an evolution from the epipragmatic uses of the language, more automatic and memorised by rote, towards the development of a metapragmatic competence, more conscious and reflexive (Gombert, 1992). A quantitative analysis based on the variables “invented words” / “lexical creation”, “drawings” and “comments about the language” was carried out. Both variables “invented words” and “lexical creation” show a high percentage in the three age groups (8, 10 and 12 years of age), which proves that children appreciate humour in the linguistic rules and are able to produce humorous stories in which they describe the phonetic or structural aspects of the invented languages, problems of understanding or translation, etc. After the quantitative analysis, the incongruity procedures found in texts will be described.
