We present the high-frequency properties of the eight electric field sensors asproposed to be launched on the spacecraft "RESONANCE" in  the near future. Dueto the close proximity of the conducting spacecraft body, the sensors (antennas)have complex receiving features and need to be well understood for an optimalmission and spacecraft design. An optimal configuration and preciseunderstanding of the sensor and antenna characteristics is also vital for theproper performance of spaceborne scientific instrumentation and thecorresponding data analysis. The provided results are particularly interestingwith regard to the planned mutual impedance experiment for measuring plasmaparameters. Our computational results describe the extreme dependency of thesensor system with regard to wave incident direction and frequency, and provides thefull description of the sensor system as a multi-port scatterer. In particular,goniopolarimetry techniques like polarization analysis and direction findingdepend crucially on the presented antenna characteristics
