. In this contribution the effects of repetitive pulse excitationson linearly and nonlinearly loaded antennas are studied on the basis ofequivalent circuit models. In the known linear case, repetitive pulses canlead to an increase of the amplitudes of oscillations. These oscillationsdecay, if realistic quality factors are assumed, comparatively quickly. Inthe considered nonlinear case the effects of repetitive pulses can add up andpersist along much larger time scales. This remarkable effect has noequivalent in the linear case.
