A penetration of electric and magnetic fields of the first global\udelectromagnetic ELF resonance into the ionosphere in the cavity Earth-ionosphere is investigated numerically. It is shown that a penetration\udheight for magnetic components is 2–3 times greater than for electric\udcomponents and it depends essentially on the value of the geomagnetic field and its\udorientation with respect to the normal to the Earth's surface. A penetration\udheight for the electric field is  about 50÷70 km, and for the magnetic\udfield it is 120÷240 km. An influence of variations of the\udconductivity of the ionosphere at the daytime and nighttime and under\uddifferent solar activity on a penetration of the fields of the first\udSchumann resonance has been investigated.  \ud<b>Keywords.</b> Electromagnetics (Guided waves) – Ionosphere\ud(Ionosphere-atmosphere interactions; Wave propagation
