. The number and quality of seismic stations and networksin Europe continually improves, nevertheless there is always scope tooptimize their performance. In this EGU2019 SM5.2/GI4.13 session we welcomedcontributions from all aspects of seismic network installation, operationand management. This includes site selection; equipment testing andinstallation; planning and implementing communication paths; policies forredundancy in data acquisition, processing and archiving; and integration ofdifferent data sets including GPS and OBS.
