While in Paper I of four papers a revised columnar high-ordermodelling approach to investigate gas-aerosol-turbulenceinteractions in the convective boundary layer (CBL) wasdeduced, in the present Paper II the model capability topredict the evolution of meteorological CBL parametersis demonstrated. Based on a model setup to simulate typicalCBL conditions, predicted first-, second- and third-ordermoments were shown to agree very well with those obtainedfrom in situ and remote sensing turbulence measurementssuch as aircraft, SODAR and LIDAR measurements as well aswith those derived from ensemble-averaged large eddysimulations and wind tunnel experiments. The results show,that the model is able to predict the meteorological CBL parameters, requiredto verify or falsify, respectively, previous hypothesis onthe interaction between CBL turbulence andnew particle formation
