The public administration and a career in the public function do not occupy an important place in the professional orientation of the new generations. In this study I considered it appropriate, by using the idea of professionalization of public function, to present the situation of young people who are in the system and who want to develop careers in the field, the employment in a public office, the obstacles they are facing, although they have real qualities to contribute to consolidate and modernize the central and local public administration.
