Yöntemler: Sadece KİP hastalığı bulunan 34 hasta Grup 1, KİP hastalığına ek olarak KOAH tanısı bulunan 32 hasta grup-2 olarak sınıflandırıldı. Grupların lateral akciğer grafileri klasik morfometrik yöntemlere kıyasla çok daha hassas olan geometrik morfometri yöntemi ile araştırılarak değerlendirildi. İlk olarak 66 bireyin lateral akciğer film dosyaları üzerine 11 referans noktası tpsDig2 programı ile işaretlendi. Bu işlem her örnek için tekrarlanarak 66 örneğin referans noktası koordinatlarını içeren birer metin dosyası (txt) oluşturuldu. Txt dosyalarına Morpheus programı ile istatistiksel analizler yapıldı.
