Higher education institutions usually work in line with the requirements of the labor market. Methodologies, literature and way of approach explored in the academy are motivated by the news, trends and new studies. From this perspective, this article was intended to show only the methodologies of design for Web taught in academia and compares them with those exploited by the market. However, the surveyed paths led us to the inclusion of a new challenge that was proposing the unification of methodologies Project E and Scrum for projects for the Web. We justify the proposed unification of methodologies with the act of contributing to the project practice web Design in both academic and professional level.
