The school furniture for technical drawing, along with others physical aspects, is certainly an element that affects significantly the performance, safety, comfort and the student’s behavior. In this sense this paper shows the importance of the suitability of the class. The research analysed the technical drawing laboratory of ifmg (federal institute for education, science and technology of minas geras campus bambuí). The methodology applied consisted in the distribution of a questionnaire among students and the professor of the class, direct observation and photographic records. By means of the applied methodology it's verified the bad posture of the students and reported pains.
