Field measurements have been carried out for a whole year on a cross-shore submerged profile of a Camargue beach and this allowed to build a useful data-base for numerical modelling of this site. Regular topographic measurements but also several other physical parameters have been recorded at the same time which allows to put in relation the various sediment phenomena with the various associated hydraulic parameters notably in period of storm. Within the French project “Liteau: Conception of management tool for sandy beaches”, an integrated tool has been carried out to model combined effects of several physical phenomena such as waves, currents, winds, sediment transport. This tool will be calibrated and validated using physical mesurements collected during this year of measurements. 1.Introduction Actuellement, l’ensemble des processus physiques se deroulant sur le littoral n’est pas maitrise et encore moins leurs interactions. On a tendance a considerer isolement l’une ou l’autre des parties (zone immergee ou dunes) sans prendre en compte les transferts de sable entre celles-ci. Ceci est vrai aussi bien a court terme (duree d’une tempete), a l’echelle de temps de la saison (ou l’on observe le recul des plages en hiver et leur reconstitution en ete) ou de l’annee. Le site du Rousty dans le delta du Rhone a ete instrumente et suivi regulierement pendant un an (Sabatier 2001). Ce suivi a consiste essentiellement en des releves topographiques et bathymetriques toutes les deux semaines couples avec des mesures de flux sedimentaires dans la zone du deferlement (par des pieges de type Kraus) et sur la plage emergee (par des pieges de type Leatherman) et egalement avec des mesures d’hydrodynamiques marines (fournies
