Bu calismada, Turkiye’de 1987-2017 donemi icin ticari aciklik, finansal gelisme, beseri sermaye ve reel GSYIH arasindaki iliskiler genisletilmis Cobb-Douglas uretim fonksiyonu kullanilarak incelenmistir. Degiskenler arasinda mevcut bir iliski olup olmadigini belirlemek amaciyla ARDL sinir testi yapilmis ve uzun donemde Turkiye’de ticari aciklik, finansal gelisme, beseri sermaye ile reel GSYIH arasinda es butunlesmenin oldugu bulgusuna ulasilmistir. Uzun donemli katsayi tahminleri, ticari acikligin reel GSYIH uzerinde pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamli bir etkiye sahip oldugunu gostermektedir. Diger katsayilar incelendiginde, uzun donemde finansal gelisme disindaki tum degiskenlerin reel GSYIH uzerindeki etkisinin pozitif ve istatistiki olarak anlamli oldugu, fakat finansal gelismenin reel GSYIH’yi negatif yonde etkiledigi sonucuna ulasilmistir. Degiskenler arasindaki nedensellik iliskisinin yonunu belirlemek amaciyla yapilan VAR Granger nedensellik testinden elde edilen sonuclar ise ekonomik buyumeden ticari aciklik, finansal gelisme ve beseri sermayeye dogru tek yonlu bir nedensellik iliskisi oldugunu gostermektedir. Boylece Turkiye’de buyume oncul ticaret hipotezinin varligi dogrulanmistir. Ayrica, ticari aciklik ile finansal gelisme arasinda ve beseri sermaye ile finansal gelisme arasinda cift yonlu nedensellik iliskileri bulunmaktadir.
