Cloud computing refers to a type of networked compu\udting whereby an application can be run on connected\udservers instead of local servers. Cloud can be used\udto store data, share resources and also to provide\udservices. Technically, there is very little differe\udnce between public and private cloud architecture.\udHowever,\udthe security and privacy of the data is a very big\udissue when sensitive data is being entrusted to thi\udrd party\udcloud service providers. Thus encryption with a fin\ude grained access control is inevitable to enforce s\udecurity\udin clouds. Several techniques implementing attribut\ude based encryption for fine grained access control\udhave\udbeen proposed. Under such approaches, the key manag\udement overhead is a little bit high in terms of\udcomputational complexity. Also, secret sharing mech\udanisms have added complexity. Moreover, they lack\udmechanisms to handle existence of traitors. Our pro\udposed approach addresses these requirements and\udreduces the overhead of the key management as well\udas secret sharing by using efficient algorithms and\udprotocols. Also, a traitor tracing technique is int\udroduced into the cloud computing two layer encrypti\udon\udenvironment
