頭部外傷後に吃様症状を呈した1例を経験した.約1年の間, 2ヵ月間隔で発話症状と血圧・脈拍数を検査した.その結果, 吃様症状生起率は, 4回目の検査までは減少していったが, 5・6回目では増加傾向が認められた.タイプは「くり返し」が最も多かった.課題別生起率では, 単語復唱で最も高く, 自由会話では低下し, 従来の知見とは異なる結果となった.一貫性効果は認められ, 吃様症状生起率と有意な相関が示された.一方, 適応性効果は低かった.適応性効果よりも一貫性効果の方が重症度の指標になりうると考えられた.血圧・脈拍数の変動と吃様症状生起率との間に有意な相関は認められなかった.
