過去30年間に日本国内に出願された特許, 実用新案につき, 吃音矯正機器を調べた.その結果, 15件を抽出した.これらの機器は, 1) 下腹に力を入れるようにする機器4件, 2) 意識を他にシフトさせる機器3件, 3) ゆっくり発語させるための機器1件, 4) その他7件に分類された.これらはいずれも注意転換法に基づく方法と推定された.
