マグネシウム (Mg) の抗不整脈作用をラット冠結紮モデルを用いて検討した.左冠動脈結紮5分後に0.6μMから60μMまでのMgを静脈内投与し, 冠結紮後30分間の心室性期外収縮 (PVC) の数, 心室頻拍 (VT) の持続時間, VTの発生率, 心室細動 (Vf) の発生率, 死亡率をコントロール群と比較した.総PVC数はコントロール群=1, 860±330 (M±SE) , 0.6μM投与群: 1, 700±46.2μM投与群: 1, 380±325.6μM投与群: 610±184 (P<0.01) , 20μM投与群: 835±168 (P<0.01) , 60μM投与群: 611±136 (P<0.01) 拍.VT発生率は各群100%.VTの持続時間はおのおの95.6±28.7 (M±SE) , 163.5±55.0, 128.0±37.2, 43.7±14.8 (P<0.01) , 62.3±14.3 (P<0.01) , 38.7±10.9 (P<0.Ol) 秒.Vf発生率はおのおの70, 50, 50, 25 (P<0.0l) , 10 (P<0.01) , 20 (P<0.01) %.死亡率は40, 10, 10, 17, 0 (P<0.Ol) , 0 (P<0.Ol) %であった.心筋梗塞発症後に投与した6から60μMのMgは心筋梗塞超急性期の心室性不整脈を抑制し, 死亡率を低下させた.
