トリメチルアミンボランを還元剤とするエチレンジアミン錯体浴からの無電解Pd-B合金めっきについて, めっき条件を確立するとともに, めっき皮膜の特性 (硬さ, はんだ付け性および接触抵抗) について検討した。微量のチオジグリコール酸の添加により, 浴の安定性が改善され, 次亜リン酸塩を還元剤とした場合と同様に, 皮膜が自己触媒的に析出した。はんだ付け性および接触抵抗について得られたデータは, 接触部品への金めっき, はんだ付け性の保持を目的とした耐熱プリフラックスやソルダコートの代替として, トリメチルアミンボランを還元剤とする無電解パラジウムめっきが適用可能であることを示唆している。
