111件の内訳は出会い頭衝突(70%)、合流・車線 変更(11%)、正面衝突(10%)、飛び出し(8%)、追突 (1%)で、出会い頭がニアミスの大半を占めた(図2)。 自転車利用者年齢分布は成人65%,中高生17%, 小学生11%、ニアミスは年齢に関係なく一日中発生し ていた。時間帯別では昼夜(8-24時)平均6件/時と 多発、深夜(0-8時) は平均2件/時であった(図3)。 ニアミス発生原因として、環境要因、タクシー側要因、自 転車側要因を考え、各ニアミス事象が主にどの要因に より発生したかを観察した。各要因要素は次の通 りである:a.環境要因(道路・交差点形状、視界状 況、信号管制状況、交通流状況、天候、照明など)、 b.タクシー側要因(一時不停止、信号無視、スピード不 適、進路変更不適等)、c.自転車側要因(安全不確 認、一時不停止、無灯火、逆走、信号無視、傘差し、2 人乗り、携帯電話使用など)。その結果、自転車側 要因が関係して発生するニアミスが大半(95%)を占め た(図4)。その内訳は、安全不確認(95件,86%)、 一時不停止(51件,46%)、無灯火(31件,28%)、逆走 (25件,23%)、信号無視(12件,11%)、傘差し(3 件,3%)、2人乗り(2件,2%)、携帯電話(1件,1%)で 0.0 2.0 4.0 6.0 8.0 10.0
