1 ABSTRACT. The paper presents the lithostratigraphic units of the Miocene deposits in the eastern part of Borod Basin. Four lithostratigraphic units were defined (Borod Formation, Cornitel Formation - including Borozel Member - and Beznea Formation) according to the recommendations of the International Stratigraphic Guide.
