Background: Angiomyxoma is a rare tumor arising from thepelvis. Preoperative diagnosis and treatment may be difficult.Case report: We report a rare case of aggressive angiomyxomapelvis that presented as vault prolapse and was misdiagnosedas ovarian tumor.Conclusion: As surgery is the main treatment, preoperativediagnosis and assessment of extent of the tumor for planningsurgery cannot be overemphasized.Synopsis: Angiomyxoma is a rare pelvic tumor with variedpresentation. Preoperative diagnosis and assessment of extentof the tumor are important for its management.
