The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of emotional labor on job attitudes of elderly nursing facility workers. For the study, 120 elderly nursing facility workers in OO city, Gangwon-do were investigated. For the analysis method, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were performed using SPSS 22.0 program, and multiple regression analysis of the causal relationship between variables was performed. The results of the study were as follows: First, the emotional expression frequency and the degree of emotional expression caution among the sub-factors of emotional labor have no significant effects on job satisfaction, a sub-factor of job attitude, but emotional disharmony has significantly negative effects on job satisfaction. Second, among the sub-factors of the emotional labor of the elderly nursing facility workers, emotional disharmony has significantly negative effects on the organizational commitment of job attitude, but the frequency of emotional expression and the degree of emotional expression caution has no significant effects on organizational commitment. This study is considered to be the basic data for preparing educational programs to reduce the emotional labor of workers.
