It has important role to guide and coordinate the other works of enterprise. Coal mining companies in Vinacomin are big ones, operating in the parent companies – subsidiary companies model, so the planification is more important. But these companies have operated from planification mechanism to market mechanism, so planification of them also has some weakness which be effected by habit or experience from old mechanism. Furthermore now Vietnamese Coal Market have had lots changes. The Government is also having the guide to establish and develop Vietnamese Coal Market. So it is essential to innovate planification of coal mining companies in Vinacomin to be suitable with the current context. The paper use some research methods such as theoretical research method; statistical method,... to clarifi necessity of innovating planification of coal mining companies in Vinacomin; establishing theoretical frame work about innovation planification of companies; guiding to innovate planification of coal mining companies in Vinacomin in the current context.
