慢性便秘患者を対象にDF摂取状況およびDF摂取に影響を与える要因について, 食事形態を1. 主食・主菜・副菜の料理の組合せ, 2. 欠食, 3. 外食, 4. 間食, 5. 摂取時間の五つに分類検討し, 以下の結果を得た。1) 栄養素等摂取量は栄養所要量に対して不足の傾向にあり, とくにDFはその傾向が顕著であった。2) 食品総摂取重量は低く, 個人における食品総摂取重量とDF摂取量との間には強い相関が認められた (γ=0.797, ρ<0.001)。3) 食事形態別摂取量は「完全食」群が栄養素等摂取量, 充足率, 食品群別摂取量, 食品群別DF摂取量において他の食事形態と比べ顕著に優良な結果が認められた。4) DF摂取量と五つの食事形態との問は「料理の組合せ」がもっとも高い寄与率を示し, DF摂取量と食物摂取量および五つの食事形態との間では, 「食物摂取量」次いで「料理の組合せ」が高い寄与率を示した。
