1) 日常食からの元素1日摂取量を求めるため, ICP-AESを用い多元素同時分析の有効性について検討した。2) 1960年代に札幌と京都で, 1980年代に水戸で陰膳法にて採取した試料を灰化し塩酸溶液にした。まず, ナトリウム, カリウム, カルシウム, マグネシウム, リンの主成分を測定後, これらの元素を標準溶液に同一濃度水準で添加した。他の10元素はMatrix matchingによりバックグラウンド, および物理干渉を除いて測定した。3) 水戸の9食分合併試料のマトリックスは, 京都, 札幌の30食合併試料のマトリックスとほぼ一致し, 同一条件で測定できた。4) 成人男子1日当たりの摂取量は, ナトリウム4.7g, カリウム2.0g, リン1.1g, カルシウム0.58g, マグネシウム0.21g, 鉄12mg, 亜鉛7.7mg, アルミニウム4.7mg, マンガン4.0mg, ストロンチウム2.3mg, 銅1.3mg, バリウム0.45mg, ニッケル0.22mg, モリブデン0.18mg, イットリウム4μg, であった。5) ICRPの標準人の摂取量と比較すると, ナトリウム, マンガン, ストロンチウムに若干高い傾向があるが全体的に低く, とくに, カルシウム, ニッケル, モリブデン, 銅摂取量は約2分の1であった。
