La localisation branchiale de Gotocotyla acanthura (Parona et Perugia, 1891) et Pyragraphorus hollisae (Euzet et Ktari, 1970) parasites de Trachinotus ovatus (L, 1758) de la cote atlantique marocaine de Mehdia dans le cas des infestations monospecifiques et simultanees a ete etudiee. Au total, 762 specimens de Trachinotus ovatus ont ete echantillonnes au port de Mehdia-Kenitra entre decembre 2002 et novembre 2004. G. acanthura occupe preferentiellement le secteur 1 de l\'hemibranchie interne de l\'arc I, alors que, P. hollisae est surtout localise dans le secteur 5 de l\'hemibranchie interne de l\'arc III. La coexistence de ces deux especes de monogenes sur le meme poisson n\'induit pas un changement dans leur localisation branchiale respective, a l\'exception d\'une preference marquee de G. acanthura pour le cote branchial droit et de P. hollisae pour le cote branchial gauche. L\'etude de la distribution branchiale montre que ces deux monogenes coexistent dans 92 % des poissons infestes. Lorsque les deux especes de monogenescoexistent, la prevalence et l\'intensite de l\'infestation sont plus elevees que dans le cas des infestations monospecifiques. The distribution of Gotocotyla acanthura (Parona et Perugia, 1891) and Pyragraphorus hollisae (Euzet et Ktari, 1970) parasites on the gills of Trachinotus ovatus (L, 1758) from the Mehdia Atlantic coast of Morocco in monospecific and simultaneous infections was studied. In total, 762 Trachinotus ovatus were sampled fromthe Mehdia-Kenitra harbour between october 2002 and november 2004. G. acanthura was found in sector 1 of the intern hemibranch of arch I, whereas, P. hollisae was found on the filaments of sector 5 of the intern hemibranch of arch III. The coexistence of these two monogenean species on the same fish does not induce a change in their respective distribution, except for a marked preference of G. acanthura for the right side andof P. hollisae for the left. The study of parasites distribution on the gills showed that coexistence of two monogenean species was at 92 % of the fish infested. The study also shows that when the two species of monogeneans coexist, the infection prevalence and intensity are higher than in cases of monospecific infections.
