Czech Republic and Republic Slovenia have been already fouryears members of European Union. Membership in EU requiresadopting of European legal order, in agricultural adopting ofCommon Agricultural Policy (CAP) which brought many changesinto both agricultural sectors. This article deals withselected measures of CAP and tries to describe their settingsand differences in both countries. Also case study is included– comparison of selected measures in one Czech and one Sloveneregion and interview with farmers in both countries and theiropinions about CAP.
