Although the incidence of gastric cancer decreases, it is still one of the most common causes of cancer mortality due to late diagnosis. Early diagnosis and treatment may be beneficial for preventing diseases, survival, and cost-effectiveness. Therefore, identification and follow-up of patients who are under the risk of gastric cancer increase the success of treatment. Homeostasis of gastric mucosa is sustained by prostaglandins (1).
