間歇性外斜視の症例に対し,斜位化を目的とした視能訓練を行なった。症例は5例で,年齢は8歳13歳8ヵ月,斜視角は,近見時は20Δ25Δ,遠見時は10Δ20Δであった。訓練方法は,Flashing methodによる抑制除去訓練,Framing cardによる生理的複視認知訓練, Stereo cardやプリズムによる融像訓練を順次行なった。抑制除去訓練は院内で,他の訓練は主に家庭で1日23回,1回510分程度行ない,全訓練期間は平均14.6週間であった。結果,訓練前は間歇性外斜視であった5例全例が,訓練後には抑制が除去され融像力が強くなり,各むき眼位や各距離で安定した外斜位になった。間歇性外斜視に対する視能訓練は有用で,特に抑制除去訓練を行なうことが斜位化するために有効であると考えた。
