眼の調節が視機能に果たす役割は,極めて重要であるが,眼科臨床では石原式に代表される近点計による検査が汎用されている.しかし,手動のため,スピード条件が一定しておらず,また,検者によっても測定結果に変化がでるため,本学で開発された定屈折刺激近点計を用いて,その有効性について検討した.また,両眼開放下での片眼の近点測定についても試みた.その結果,定屈折刺激近点計は,ばらつきが少なく,再現性が良好で,熟練者によらずとも安定した検査結果が得られ,また,自然視に近い状態での近点測定も実施できた.
