空 間 周 波 数 特 性 は,Modulation Transfer Function(MTF),あ るい はContrast Sensitivity Function (CSF)と 呼 ば れ,そ の 測 定 に は複 雑 な装 置 を必 要 とす る.そ れ らの複 雑 な装 置 を用 い た 弱 視 の空 間 周 波 数 特 性 は,高 周 波 数 域 で 低 下 す る もの と全 周 波 数 域 で低 下 す る もの が あ る と され て い る1),2),3),4,,5),6),7),8),9),10),11),12). 私 共 は,簡 単 に空 間 周 波 数 特 性 を測 定 す る こ とが で き るArden grating test13),14)を用 い て, 弱 視 の 予 後 判 定 に 役 立 た な い か を 知 るた め に contrast sensitivityを 調 べ て い る. 先 の 報 告15)で 弱 視 患 者 のcontrast sensitivityは 正 常 者 と比 較 して 全 周 波 数 域 で 低 下 し て お り,更 に高 周 波 数 域,特 にplate 6, 7に お い て その 低 下 が 著 明 で あ り,弱 視 の 種 類 別 で は 不 同 視 弱 視 が他 の グル ー プ に 較 べ て高 周 波 数 域 が 著 明 に低 下 して い る こ と を明 らか に した. 今 回 は 弱視 患 者 を治 療 前 か らArden grating testを 行 い,弱 視 治 療 に伴 うcontrast sensitivityの 経 過 に つ い て検 討 を行 っ た.そ の結 果, 弱視治療によ り高周波数域での改善が著明であ り,治 療開始6ヵ 月迄 は高周波数域のcontrast sensitivityの 改善 と視力の改善度 は有意に相関 することが判明した.
