【Purpose】Using the far gradient (Far G), near gradient (Near G), and heterophoria (Hetero) methods, changes in the accommodative convergence/accommodation (AC/A) ratio were investigated in children with respect to gender and age. 【Subjects and Methods】The subjects included 140 children (group A; age, 6-12 years, 20 children for each age), 28 healthy young adults (group B; age, 21.4 ± 3.56 years), and 28 children (group C; age, 6-12 years, 4 children for each age) who were measured in a reversed order from group A and B.
