【Purpose】By compensating aberrations of the eye, an adaptive optics fundus camera has a horizontal resolution of 2μm and enables the visualization of retinal cells and structure. Using the rtx1 adaptive optics fundus camera, in this study we examined photoreceptor cells in a case of light-induced retinal damage. 【Case】The patientin this case was a 34-year-old male. His left visual acuity was 0.9. Discontinuity of the photoreceptor inner segment-outer segment junction (IS/OS) line in the macular area was detected by spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT).
